You may have seen us sporting these Hooded Turkish Towels ourselves – that’s how much we love incorporating them into our own sauna practice. We are happy to replace or refund any faulty item (except for standard wear and tear) within the first 3 months of purchase.

If you pre-arrange collection from our Wellington sauna space, we’ll contact you when your order is ready for collection and let you know which sauna location to collect it from.

Alternatively, you can have your purchase couriered anywhere within New Zealand. Please allow additional time during peak periods, such as the lead-up to Christmas. Orders are sent in a tracked courier bag, with an additional courier fee added to your purchase total.

We recommend selecting the size that’s right for you. If you prefer a roomier fit (or would like to get changed underneath), it’s best to size up. Please note that if you’re planning a more active session, a smaller fit might suit you best. 

While stock is available to order online only, you can try on our hooded towels pre- or post-sauna at any of our locations before purchasing.

BLACK / DARK PONCHOS

Like any dark coloured towelling, at first the fluff from these can sometimes be bothersome, so we've listed what you should do to minimise this:

BEFORE USE

Remove the tags and put your poncho in the dryer on an airing setting (cold) for 30min intervals with a clean lint tray.

You will see fine cotton particles build up in the lint tray, these are the pieces that are not and never were attached to the towelling that have been dyed.

ONGOING USE

Go light on the detergent, the lighter you use this and hot water the longer the colour will hold. Some of our personal towels are still as bright as the day they arrived because we use them to dry, dry them on the line and hang up to use again.

 

SEAMS & JOINS

All of the ponchos have reinforcing sewn into them, you do still need to factor in under the arms and the split in the leg.

Sheer force will break anything.
