We offer private sessions and a range of shared experiences, from women’s-only and silent sessions to our unique half-social/half-silent option – offering a gentle balance of stillness and connection. We also offer yoga and sauna sessions, as well as family sessions, all with stunning views across Wellington’s beautiful bays.

Yoga + Sauna

Begin with a beachside yoga session led by Gabrielle, then step straight into the sauna. Our open level classes include moving and breathing practices drawn from Hatha Yoga and Qi Gong. Expect casual yet structured sessions, lovingly designed to cultivate ease, vitality, and connection. Available Saturday mornings at our Scorching Bay sauna.

Join our dedicated women-only shared sessions in a relaxed, welcoming environment.

Family Sessions

Craving some down time with the family? We’d love to welcome you. Kids and teens aged 6-16 can attend our family sessions for free with a supervising adult present. Adults pay per spot.

Silent Sessions

For those seeking a little quiet time, these are shared sessions with no talking, designed to help you switch off and slow down. Depending on the session, there may be soft background music, or no music at all.

Scenic Saunas is a Wellington-based mobile sauna company offering woodfired sauna sessions at some of the region’s most stunning coastal locations. Founded and operated by local Wellingtonian Mike Burrell, Scenic Saunas brings the ancient benefits of heat therapy to the outdoors - combining consistent sauna heat with cold ocean swims, fresh sea air, and Wellington’s natural scenery.

"A fabulous experience! The sauna is beautiful and the staff did such a lovely job of explaining everything. It ran 1 1/2 hours- wonderful heat and then a short walk to the sandy beach and into the ocean to cool off. Very scenic. There is a beautiful view from inside the sauna. The blast of steam at the end was wonderful. Will definitely be back. Great value!"
